About: Julie started playing the violin at age 6, learning through the Suzuki Method. She continued playing through high school and into her twenties. Life got busy being a mom and an educator at an elementary school. Her violin didn’t get much love until she found Gracenotes Symphonic Community Orchestra right here in Mukwonago!

Now Julie takes her creative life experience with kids, education, music, theater, art and general problem-solving skills to teach beginning violin lessons at the Music Café.

Focus: Building a musical pizza, starting with the crust – the foundation of a good pizza.

The ingredients include: learning the instrument, how to hold it, discovering notes and rhythm and of course, PLAYING!
